That’s right, our friends at Playstation just announced their February lineup of free games for Playstation Plus members, and Little Big Planet 3 definitely tops the list.  If you don’t have Playstation plus yet, this is a great time to start. They allow multi-player on the Playstation 4, but if you’re not into that, they give you free games for all of your Playstation products every month.  I must have a game library worth hundreds just through the PSPlus games I’ve collected.  If you’re not sure you’re going to like a game, add it to your library anyway.  When you’re bored, or looking for something new to play, you can try it out.  This month, Little Big Planet 3 is definitely the game worth the most attention.  It’s been a while since Sony has given us a major title on PS4 with PS+.

LBP3 can be played with up to 4 players, local or online co-op on normal levels.  Scattered through the game are multiplayer side-games where lots of little sack-things can get together and cause a general ruckus.  Little Big Planet is known for fostering creativity.  There are tools to make your own levels, you can post them for other people to play, and you can dress your guy up in a variety of fantastic outfits.  In Little Big Planet 3, you not only play as sack-thing, but also get to rescue his three friends, all with different powers to go through each world.  Having different characters makes the levels very replayable.  You need to use several different characters at times to get every item in the level.  This is a great game to play with your non-gamer friends.  You only need one of your sack-things to get to the next save point in the level to move forward, so if a part becomes too difficult, you only really need one person to get through.  Non-gamers can have fun making a character they really want to play, so you can pull them into your world. (bwahahaha)  There are tons of ways to get extra costumes for your sacks.  One of my favorite is Run Sackboy Run! for android.  You can unlock up to 12 additional outfits just by playing another game.

Not a Hero is a bloody sidescroller where you try to take down the criminal underworld.

Starwhal– Narwhals in space.  What more could you ask for?  Ram the enemies with your horn, don’t get rammed!

Anna – Unlock your character’s secrets through puzzles and clues in this psychological horror game.

Ninja Senki DX – You’re an awesome ninja, doing ninja things like running around killing people.

TorqueL – According to the Playstation store, “TorqueL is a unique 2D ‘rolling’ & ‘extend’ platformer/action/puzzle game. Including a total of 50 chambers, and 7 basic routes.”  The game looks interesting, but seems to be hard to describe until you play it for yourself.
